St. Luke's Christian Preschool (SLCP) is a culturally inclusive learning center built on the foundation of God's word and is dedicated to the care, education & development of children AND their families through a positive Christian environment.
Over the last 40 years, St. Luke's has worked hard to support the working parent by providing a fun, safe & nurturing atmosphere for young children; their Home away from home.
We are excited to partner with you, your child and your family as we provide an early childhood Christian foundation filled with excellence that will meet the spiritual, social, emotional, and relational needs of your child. I am certain that you will benefit from all that SLCP has provided to its families since its beginning in 1984!

Admissions
In accordance with state law, SLCP does not discriminate in any of its policies procedures or practices based on race, color, national and ethnic origin. All rights, privileges, programs and activities are available to all students at the preschool.
Curriculum
It is the goal of SLCP to assist children in developing cognitive skills and a healthy self-image through art, dramatic play, language arts, science, music, large & small motor skills, and through Christian education.

Get Connected
SLCP’s goal is to reinforce the family unit. Through the participation of parents, family members and community, we make special events, sharing holidays and traditions possible. This helps children become aware of the wonderful cultural diversity of our environment.
Upcoming Events
A number of Special programs, Community service, Events & Field trip are planned for the children and families each year. SLCP feels that working in collaboration with the family fosters the greatest opportunities for the development of the whole child, creating a positive preschool experience.

St. Luke’s publishes a monthly newsletter, “The Courier”, in which you will find important information about our Church, school events and activities.
Meet our Team
A well-established staff of seasoned teachers and Director put their years of experience into preparing and executing an age appropriate, educational curriculum for each developmental stage of growth. Based on core Christian values, the preschool staff guides children through purposefully constructed play and educational experiences that are designed to guide children’s growth socially and emotionally.

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to St. Luke’s Christian Preschool.
The preschool is a ministry of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, which seeks to reach out to the community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to growing in relationship with God and with others. Our motto is to “Know God’s Love and Share it.”

Our Teachers
All Teachers at SLCP are experienced and fully qualified. Great care is taken in choosing staff members who really have a passion for working with & teaching children while maintaining St. Luke’s Christian values.
All of SLCP’s teachers have Early Childhood Education certificates, state of CA child study permits, and/or Associates or Bachelor’s degrees.
Hours & Location
Monday - Friday
6:30 AM - 6 PM
Students are required to be in attendance no later than 9 AM.
