Hello! My name is Candice Pearson (Ms. Pearson) and I am a highly dedicated Preschool Director at St. Luke’s Christian Preschool since 2011. With a passion for early childhood education that blossomed after successfully running my own home childcare for over seven years, I transitioned to Preschool teaching once my children were ready for a more stimulating & educational environment. After gaining some experience in non-Christian based centers, I discovered my true calling in Christian Education, where I could feel free to integrate God’s love, Christian morals, values and lessons in a faith-based setting. St. Lukes has been my church home since my wedding in 1998 and choosing to raise my own family in a Christian environment. Answering God’s call as SLCP’s Preschool Director was a natural extension of my commitment to my church & community.
